Our college, has been ranked as one of the best Arts and Commerce Colleges under the Kannur University in Kerala. This reputed institution was started in 1980 by the esteemed educationist Prof. A.K Raghavan Nambiar. It was later renamed as the New named College in 2008, as a subsidiary of Kannur District, Advanced Studies and Career Guidance Co-op Ltd. CNC offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses that cater mainly to the students in and around Kannur and Kasargod districts.

It gives them the opportunity to learn in an environment that promotes democratic norms without a compromise on integrity, with compassion towards society at large. It is currently governed by a Board of Directors under the Presidentship of Shri.T.Viswanathan. The other board members include the Secretary Shri.T.P Ravi, Director Shri. Manohar Nair and the Principal Prof.C.Raghavan.
